Engineering course content (apprentice status)

✅ Work/study course

This course trains professionals to understand the design, construction and operation of buildings with a constant focus on energy performance and sustainable development.

👉 This course is restricted to students who hold an eligible French national technical diploma – BTS (Brevet de téchnicien supérieur) or DUT (Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie). The upper age limit is 30.

Construction companies, engineering practices, industrial groups and project owners all need to consolidate existing skills and acquire new ones in order to meet the demands of sustainable development. A Sustainable Construction Energy Engineer (GECD) is involved in designing, constructing and operating buildings in order to achieve optimal energy performance.

The apprenticeship element of the course means that engineering students are integrated into the life of a company from the outset in order to become operational more rapidly. This three-year course open to holders of a DUT or BTS is delivered on a work/study basis in industry and at ESTP Paris in collaboration with an apprentice training centre (CFA).
