As true guardians of the implementation of technical, real-estate and financial strategies, they are entrusted with various duties: management of technical and environmental risk prevention maintenance, project management of new build, redevelopment or rehabilitation projects, financial and managerial steering of the service, etc.


To help you and your teams to tackle the many challenges you face, ESTP offers a certifying course comprised of 5 modules to be carried out alternatively on-site and remotely, focused on the main components of this profession and combined with visits and interactions with professionals to illustrate the various topics addressed during the course through concrete projects (sustainable development, maintenance, BIM, etc.).

-    New-build or rehabilitation healthcare real-estate project

Module 3
 Managing maintenance, technical and environmental risks - 3 days including 0.5 remotely
-    Specificities of technical departments
-    Electrical safety of installations
-    Heavy equipment
-    Health and fire risks
-    Energy management
-    Organisation of maintenance
-    Crisis management (“Plan Blanc”, ORSEC plan, etc.)

 

Module 4
 Performing financial steering and purchase performance - 2 days on-site
-    Public and private healthcare institution funding arrangements
-    Multi-annual investment plan
-    Estimate of revenue and expenditure
-    General principles of public accounting, role of the public treasury
-    Terms for developing the hospital’s Global multi-annual financing plan (PGFP)
-    Requirements of account certification and determination of the rules for the acquisition, amortisation and disposal of real-estate assets (financial management of assets)

 

Module 5
Organising and coordinating teams - 2 days including 0.5 remotely
-    Specificities of the professional hospital environment
-    Responsibilities and duties of the head of department
-    Organisation and implementation in service of the strategy
-    Manager’s posture

PEDAGOGICAL ARRANGEMENTS

- Theoretical and methodological contributions, virtual classes, case studies, exercises, etc.
- In addition to modules, a site visit, master class or workshops will be organised

 

TERMS OF ADMISSION


The applicant must provide us with the following:
- CV
- Cover letter specifying the applicant’s career plan
- Completed application form

These will be forwarded to the pedagogical team for approval of prerequisites

TERMS OF COMPLETION


- Knowledge assessment questionnaire at the end of each module
- Defence before a jury on a randomly-selected issue relating to the topics addressed during the course: 1 hour preparation time + 30 minutes speaking time (15 minutes of presentation and 15 minutes of Q&A)

- Paris: from September 2023 to June 2024

 

PRICE

- €6,700 exempt of VAT

 

Terms of access to the course: two sessions are scheduled per year. The timeframe for access is at least 1 month prior to the start of each session, but a 3-week procedure may be actioned based on available spaces.
