Research at ESTP

Faced with environmental, digital, and societal transitions, ESTP is committed to applied research, rooted in reality and looking to the future. We innovate to build better and more sustainably, with and for the stakeholders of the sector.

Research – a driver of transformation at the heart of the school

At ESTP, research pursues a clear objective: to support the major transitions in construction through eight core scientific areas, ranging from ecological civil engineering to digital twins.
Our research and innovation projects are led by dedicated teams of researchers and faculty members across all our campuses.

Teaching and Research Chairs – shared innovation to support the transitions

Created in partnership with industry, teaching and research chairs enable us to go further, faster, on concrete challenges: sustainable infrastructure, BIM, innovative materials, cities of the future…
They bridge the gap between academia, industry, and students to imagine, test, and deploy practical solutions.

Researchers, companies, PhD candidates – let’s build your research projects together

Researchers, companies, future PhD candidates: there are many ways to collaborate with ESTP:

  • Join a research team
  • Fund a project or a chair
  • Supervise an internship, co-design a research topic

Each partnership is an opportunity to create shared value.

Advancing scientific knowledge in sustainable construction

Research at ESTP also includes scientific publications, PhD theses and internships open to applications, events, conferences, seminars, and position papers.
These resources allow you to follow, understand, and draw inspiration from the work of the ESTP Institute for Construction Research.
