ESTP has been training those who design, build, and transform the world of tomorrow for over 135 years.
Recognised as an EESPIG (Private Higher Education Institution of General Interest), the school prepares its students to meet the technical, environmental, and societal challenges of a sector undergoing profound transformation.

The construction sector is experiencing a real revolution: low-carbon construction, new building methods, eco-materials, BIM, digital twins, artificial intelligence, connected worksites…
In the face of these transformations, ESTP trains engineers and middle managers who can innovate, adapt, and take concrete action.
Our graduates are behind the sector’s major developments: they are its drivers, leaders, and trailblazers. At the crossroads of technology, the environment, and digital tools, they design sustainable solutions, optimise projects, and build with responsibility.
Building has never been so exciting. At ESTP, we support this movement with passion, high standards, and vision.
At ESTP, innovation is everywhere: at the heart of research projects, on hands-on training sites, and in the classroom. Our programmes, from Bachelor’s to Doctorate level, are designed to anticipate changes in the sector: sustainable construction, innovation in building, digitalisation of the construction industry, low-carbon materials, energy performance…
Guided by faculty members and professionals from the industry, our students develop solid technical skills, critical thinking, and an innovative mindset.
In parallel, our Construction Research Institute, our teaching and research chairs, and our technology platforms explore tomorrow’s solutions in close collaboration with companies and local communities.
ESTP delivers its programmes across five campuses, each connected to its local ecosystem – training locally while having a global reach.
Every campus has its own identity, energy, and projects.
All share the same ambition: to provide an inspiring, people-focused environment aimed at transforming the sector.
The historic heart of ESTP, just outside Paris, with a vibrant student life, a dynamic academic environment, and easy access to the sector’s major players.
An eco-campus focused on innovation, integrated into the Burgundy-Franche-Comté sustainable construction cluster and a player in the smart city.
With more than 120 university partners worldwide and a mandatory semester abroad during the programme, ESTP makes mobility a cornerstone of the student experience.
The school welcomes a large proportion of international students each year and offers a programme taught entirely in English from the first year.
This international outlook prepares students to work in multicultural environments and to build a career without borders in fields such as smart cities, sustainable infrastructure, or eco-responsible construction.
As part of their training, students follow a dedicated module on multiculturalism to develop their intercultural skills and broaden their international perspective.
A school at the heart of ecological and digital transitions in construction.
Lectures, hands-on training projects, community initiatives, partnerships, mobility opportunities, student life… ESTP is alive, forward-looking, and innovative.
ESTP is a non-profit private school under the French “1901 association” status. Recognised as an EESPIG (Private Higher Education Institution of General Interest) since 2015, it operates in the public interest, serving education, research, and professional development in the construction sector.
Its governance involves strong engagement from the socio-economic world: more than 150 companies in the sector are members of the ESTP association and actively contribute to the life of the school.
The Board of Directors, chaired by Jean-Louis Marchand, brings together representatives of major companies, professional federations, academia, and the construction ecosystem. It sets the school’s strategic direction.
The General Management, led by Joël Cuny, drives the school’s transformation in line with the ecological, digital, and societal transitions.
