At ESTP, gender diversity is a driver of performance, openness, and transformation for the construction sector. Today, 33% of our students are women – a number that continues to rise. They pursue careers as engineers, project managers, site managers, or researchers, ready to build a sustainable future.
Since 2013, as a signatory of the Gender Equality Charter, the school has multiplied awareness and support initiatives. With the help of alumni and the ESTP Foundation, it is actively involved in networks such as Elles bougent and ESTP au Féminin to encourage, connect, and support female students at every stage. This commitment was recognised by a nomination for “Most Committed School” in the CDEFI Ingénieuses awards.

We believe in the value of diverse backgrounds and in equal opportunity. ESTP welcomes students from all social and geographic origins and implements concrete measures to remove barriers to higher education – whether financial, cultural, or related to disability.
Each year, we award over 700 scholarships and offer competitive exam access to grant-holders. We also provide personalised support throughout the study path.
For inclusion, ESTP has a disability officer and an active accessibility policy across all campuses. Adaptations can include extra exam time, financial or material aid for specific equipment, and more – each situation is addressed to ensure optimal learning conditions.
ESTP applies a zero-tolerance policy towards discriminatory, sexist, or violent behaviour.
Each campus has a trained VSS (Sexist and Sexual Violence) officer to assist students who are victims or witnesses of such acts. They provide a safe listening space, guidance, and support.
