Intensive French Language Summer Program
ESTP Paris/EPF team is offering an online alternative to the on-campus intensive French language summer program.
Join us this summer to improve your French and get a virtual taste of French Culture from home!
With our hands-on online courses, gain knowledge about French language applied to science and engineering and get ready for a future study abroad experience in France!
New this year: students that will be in the Paris area over the summer program will get to participate in 2/3 activities (conversations, picnics, cultural activities, theatre).
Depending on your level ou can enroll for a 4-week session or a 6 week session. We offer several group levels from Beginner (A1) to Upper Intermediate (B2) levels, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL). Learn more about the CEFRL.
2021 Course schedule
4 week or a 6 week sessions
You can enroll for a 4 week or a 6 week session depending on your level:
Group level A1 & A2 :
- Dates | July 19 - August 27
- Course duration | 6 weeks
- Hours per week | 25 hours
Group level B1 & B2 :
For practical reasons, intermediate level courses (B1/B2) will be held from August 2nd to August 27th, 2021.

- Course duration | 4 weeks
- Hours per week | 25 hours
Courses are planned as follows:
- 4 course hours per day, from Monday to Friday
1h to 2h in synchronous mode
1h to 2h in asynchronous mode
Detailed timetables will be shared with enrolled students about a week before the beginning of the session.
ATTENTION : it is important to have a computer in working order and a good wifi connection in order to participate in the long distance classes. A camera and a microphone are also needed to attend the online courses.

We offer synchronous and asynchronous distance learning modes combining:

Our language professors all have a French teaching certification and a college degree. They have a solid experience in teaching French as a foreign language to international students.
They are enthusiastic and dynamic with strong online teaching skills.
Scientific subjects are taught by qualified college professors and professionals dedicated to providing technical and specialized vocabulary and knowledge to students who are keen to follow an engineering or scientific curriculum in France.
At the end of the program, a certificate of attendance indicating the level achieved in French is issued to each student.
Academic transcripts indicating the grades obtained and level achieved in French will also be issued.
At the end of each week, you may obtain 1 transferrable academic credit (ECTS). Summer Language courses credits may be accepted towards a degree according to the home institution. Students may check their home institution’s transfer policy.

An internet connection is required for the use of these software. We advise students to install and test them as soon as they are granted access by the school.
All browsers are supported by our Moodle platform and Teams, but we recommend using the latest versions for security reasons.
