The ESTP programmes, which have received quality labels from the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE), are designed to meet the needs and adapt to the transformation of professional construction sectors. These sectors have a high need for experts who must rise to significant challenges; this means training their future managers.

 

AN ENABLING ENVIRONMENT FOR PROFESSIONALS AND YOUNG GRADUATES TO IMPROVE THEIR SKILLS

ESTP offers company directors, young graduates and functional or operational managers 9 Specialised Master’s degrees on a full time (6 months of classes and 6 months of company placement) or part time basis (1 week of classes and 3 weeks of company placement) to combine training and professional activity.

These Specialised Master’s degrees meet the needs and adapt to the changes of professional sectors where there is a significant need for highly-developed skills; this is why they were created. We have a network of 28,000 active members which enables graduates to quickly enter the employment market. Over 95% of our Master’s graduates are in employment 6 months after completing their course (based on the 2024 employment survey).

BIM AT THE HEART OF OUR SPECIALISED MASTER’S COURSES

To train future construction and property managers, our educational programmes integrate the BIM project process: from the order phase, to the design phase through to implementation. The aim is to enable all professionals in the construction industry to make the best decisions throughout their Building Information Modelling (BIM) process.

The role of a Specialised Master’s degree lecturer is to encourage interactivity and the development of new skills among each of the participants. These lecturers are involved in all the main stages of the course (teaching committee, enrolment, conference, etc.) The educational methods applied allow for quick and successful integration in a professional environment.

As post-graduate courses with a professional focus, the Specialised Master’s degrees have received the quality label created and awarded by the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE). To be accredited, each Specialised Master’s degree dispenses unique knowledge in the sectors in which companies have a real need.

For this new 2023 edition, all our AMEC, BIM, CHD, MIS, MOGI and MOGI TP Specialised Master’s degrees rank among the top 20 courses. Scoring criteria are based on the course’s reputation, salaries and prospects on completion and on satisfaction feedback from students.

ADMISSION INFORMATION

General conditions of admission

Applications from students holding the following diplomas are admissible:

- An engineering degree accredited by the Commission des titres d’ingénieur (CTI list)
- A diploma issues by a management school authorised to issue the national grade of Master’s (CEFDG list)
- A 3rd cycle diploma accredited by university authorities (DEA, DESS, Master’s, etc.) or a professional BAC+5 level degree
- A first year Master’s degree or equivalent, for audiences with at least three years of professional experience
- Level 7 RNCP qualification (former level I nomenclature)
- Any foreign diploma equivalent to the above required French diplomas

 


Derogating conditions of admission:

a) Within the limit of a maximum of 40% of the total number of class members enrolled in the Specialised Master’s degree in question, applications from individuals with at least 10 years of professional experience (excluding internships, gap years and initial sandwich courses) are admissible following a Validation of Prior Personal and Professional Experience procedure (VAPP).
In this case, a description of the VAPP mechanism which will evaluate the applicant’s knowledge, methods and know-how - including the composition of the teaching committee - must be provided along with any programme-appropriate components

b) By way of derogation within the limit of a maximum of 30% of the total number of students enrolled in the Specialised Master’s degree in question, applications from students holding the following diplomas are admissible:
- Confirmed first-year Master’s degree level or equivalent with no professional experience
- 3rd year Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience

The total percentage of the derogations described in a) and b) must not exceed 40%.
However, in specific enrolment circumstances (reorganisation of a business sector or of a specific company), this may be increased to 60%, without the derogations authorised under b) exceeding 30%. In this case, the school must justify such a request and the Conférence des Grandes Écoles reserves the right to accept or refuse this option as regards applicant enrolment.

 

Timeframe for access to the course: The recommended waiting time is at least 9 month. An accelerated one-month procedure may be actioned based on available spaces.

 

Terms of assessment: Each programme is comprised of project-based theoretical and practical classes (continuous assessment: case studies, MCQ, quiz, individual work, group work, etc.), a company placement and a professional thesis on a corporate, operational and/or strategic topic. A Specialised Master’s degree awards 75 ECTS credits (45 for the learning component and 30 for the professional thesis).
