RESEARCH PATHWAY | ENGINEER PROGRAMME

RESEARCH PATHWAY | ENGINEER PROGRAMME

The Research Pathway is a scientific research initiation and training programme for ESTP engineer students.

It serves two objectives :

⚫ Provide training in research and through research, by applying teaching techniques that are suited to the challenges of engineering and research

⚫  Enable the student, through specialized teaching, to be operational at the end of their engineering programme and to be able to pursue doctoral studies.

This is an evolving pathway which can be taken from the 1st to the 3rd year of the Engineering programme.

THIS PATHWAY ENABLES (...)

💡 STUDENTS...

To discover a scientific research environment, its challenges and prospects, through presentations provided by ESTP teacher-researchers and scientific stakeholders from other horizons (academics, institutional actors, companies, consulting firms, etc.)

To develop the fundamental skills required to pursue a scientific career at all levels, through methodological classes (major stages of the research process) and interaction sessions (discussions on ethics and integrity in science)

To experience scientific research conditions through case studies providing a view of all stages of scientific research: from the formulation of a problem, to optimum use of findings, and including bibliographical research and debating ideas with peers.

 💡 COMPANIES...

To be involved in the training of our student engineers, from their very first year, by enabling them to discover and introduce themselves to your research and innovation topics.

To create a privileged relationship with students interested in your research and innovation topics, through the gradual discovery of research project management.

To consolidate ties with students with an interest in research and innovation, by building a shared project in partnership with the ESTP research centre.
